Most Important Futures Work (MIFW)
APF recognizes the most important futures works for the purpose of identifying and rewarding the work of professional futurists and others whose work illuminates aspects of the future. Furthermore, the APF publicly shares those projects in order to educate and inform, and to showcase examples of excellent futures work.
Currently, the MIFW committee seeks entries for works published from 2007 to 2011. Nomination process can be found here; and the 2012 jury and works already nominated are listed here. Nomination period will close 31 December 2011. Recognized works will be announced early 2012.
A history of the program lists previously recognized works.
